HURON LEAGUE BASEBALL CHAMPS: Although beaten in their final game, 6 to 5 by Milan, the Dundee High School baseball team shown above won the title in the Huron league this season with six victories and one defeat. Belleville and Chelsea tied for second place, each with five victories and two defeats. Front row, left to right, Don Oyer, Roy Beasley, Don Mathis and Manager Tom Kelly. In the center row are Ray Halle, Howard Heiden, Gil Sortor, Robert Roof, Clayton Addy and Merlin Johnson. DAVIS SCORES FOR DUNDEE: Wyman Davis, Dundee's triple-threat halfback, is shown ripping through the Milan line for one of the touchdowns he scored in the Huron league title battle yesterday. Davis was the individual star of the game. His long passes put the Vikings in position to score several of their touchdowns while his open field running was a constant source of worry to the smaller Milan players.

TIED FOR TITLE: Dundee high's Vikings, shown above, tied for the Huron league baseball title with Lincoln Consolidated's Rail-Splitters, each team winning seven out of eight games played. In a field day game staged yesterday at Ypsilanti, Lincoln won by a score of 3-2 after an extra inning of play. Many of the boys shown in the above picture were on the Dundee teams which won Huron league football and basketball titles last fall and the tennis title this spring. University high broke the Vikings monopoly in track yesterday, however, winning the title with a record number of points, 48. In the picture are shown, top row, Barron, Wy Davis, Coach Harold Smead, Arthurs and Eckel. In the center row are shown Miller, Wi. Davis, Knabusch, Benham and Dorrell. In the bottom row are Kopka, manager, Addy, Rowland, Toburren, Lennard, Heiden and Adams, manager.
