The Wayside Theater is almost finished. Tentative date for the opening of the movie house is scheduled for around the first of the year, depending upon the weather. When completed, The Wayside, situated between Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor at 3020 Washtenaw, will seat 1,000 persons and will have parking for 325 cars. It will be owned and operated by Butterfield Theatres, Inc.
