NEW DESIGNS IN CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS: A Christmas design in the spirit of the della Robbia plaques has been arranged by Mrs. William F. Giefel of Barton Hills, and placed in the doorway at the home of Miss Bertha E. Muehlig, 315 S. Main St. The Ann Arbor Garden club is sponsoring a demonstration of new designs in holiday decorations, under the direction of Mrs. Allen S. Whitney of Church St., and several others will be placed this week. Red floodlights will illuminate the arrangement of fruits and vegetables with greens and pine cones, above the door at Miss Muehlig's home.
