STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN HEART CAMPAIGN: Bach School students quickly joined the Michigan Heart Association's Save-A-Heart campaign because rheumatic fever has been described by doctors as childhood's greatest enemy. Frank F. Mueller (left), president of the Bach student council, holds a placard with one of the plastic heart-shaped collection boxes which have been placed throughout the city. Other members of the council examine the tiny Save-A-Heart banks which were distributed at the school by Legionnaire George F. Williams, standing behind the children. They are, left to right: Dale M. Alexander, fifth grade representative; Richard D. Downey, fourth grade; Judy Lentz, third grade; Kent H. Waters, council vice president; Bruce Arnold, fourth grade; and Martha Farnsworth, fifth grade.
