School Dedication Attracts Some 1,000 People. Some 1,000 persons attended yesterday's dedication ceremonies at the Martin Luther King Elementary School in Ann Arbor. Mrs. Rachel Schreiber, principal, is shown speaking to part of the crowd. An overflow audience which could not be seated in the gymnasium heard the program over the public address system. Five third and fourth graders read essays and poems, the school's chorus read Dr. King's "I Have A Dream" speech, and two songs, including "We Shall Overcome," were sung by the students. Dr. Harold J. Lockett, president of the Ann Arbor Board of Education, gave the dedication speech.
