Smashed Trains Locked Together: Wreckage of the 70-car freight train and the New York Central's Wolverine passenger train which collided last night in Dexter (top picture) shows how the trains were crushed together in the crash. Some of the cars had to be pried apart. Seven persons were injured. Lower picture [this photo], taken today while a work train (smoke in the background) was putting cars back on the tracks, shows how far the Wolverine left its tracks. The passenger train's engine skidded along until it struck the switch where the group of men is standing, then bounced back toward its own track. Main line tracks are just visible at extreme right in picture. (Other pictures on pages 7, 10 and 15.)
