Elementary school music instructors check more than 900 instruments for cleanliness and need for repairs in the Jones School gymnasium. The instruments rented to the school district's fifth graders for beginning music instruction, were brought to Jones today for their annual inspection and repair, where needed. More than 72 per cent of the district's fifth graders take instrumental music instruction. If the youngsters choose to continue instruction they must purchase their own instrument.
