The age of the computer--and IBM machines--simply brings a new challenge to the human operators who refuse to lose touch with "olden" times. In this case, Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Beyer (above) of 1721 Pauline and her associates at the University's Institute for Social Research fashioned Christmas decorations from IBM cards. More than 400 of the perforated cards went into the tree, which was been on view in the ISR lobby. The wreath contains almost 100 cards.
