ANIMAL COMFORT: Lost pets in Ann Arbor, found by the Humane Society officer, ride to the humane shelter in this ambulance provided exclusively for them. P. Warren Jones, the humane officer, shows two dogs here, who seem to like the idea, but who probably would ignore the whole proposition if a couple of prospective owners appeared with promises of permanent homes for them.

Knight in Africa about a year ago, belongs to a ferocious species but proves quite tractable in the hands of her captor. The bird was photographed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Peirsol, where Capt. Knight is a guest. Capt. Knight is at the left and the Peirsols' son, John, at the right.
