JUNIOR CHAMPS: The best of the city's junior tennis players is represented by these six. They are the champions in the City Junior Tennis Tournament, just completed at Burns Park. Left to right are Rick Weir (15-and-under singles and doubles), Bob Masur (18-and-under singles and doubles), Steve Blatt (18-and-under doubles), Jack Knowles (15-and-under doubles), Shary Brown (18-and-under doubles) and Kippy Pritula (18-and-under singles and doubles). Weir won his singles title by beating John Brummet in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. The match was played yesterday.

Youth Is Served. Youth was served in the Ann Arbor Junior Tennis Tournament as 13-year-old Cindy Morris and 14-year-old John Slote accounted for two trophies. Miss Morris won the girls' 16-and-under singles by defeating Sarah Perkins, 6-1, 6-0. Slote wrapped up the 14-and-under division with a 6-2, 8-6 victory over Carl Reading.
