FOUR COMBINES IN ONE FIELD: Washtenaw county farmers who accepted an invitation to witness a demonstration of a combine at work on the Everett Pratt farm on Wagner Rd. in Scio Township yesterday were treated to an unusual sight - that of four different harvester-thresher outfits mowin' down the wheat at once. Three Ann Arbor agricultural implement dealers and one from Saline demonstrated their combines, and the noise of the tractors and other machinery as the golden grain was efficiently cut, threshed and poured into the bags made "Old Dobbin" perk up his ears in a nearby pasture. Represented in the demonstration, which attracted approximately 150 farmers, were the Ann Arbor Implement Co., Ray L. Savery, W. J. Schneider and Gross Hardware of Saline.
