A Flavor Of The Past ~ George Moe was a meticulous man, and when he built Moe's Sport Shop No. 2 at 902 S. State St., he put care into its fixtures. The pecanwood cabinets, at left, were decorated with medallions (closeup, top right) [this photo]. The clock at top left is just one of the things that gives a flavor of the past to the store. Joy And Sorrow: Current winter weather is proving to be winsome or woeful, depending on your predilection. For those who bought winter sports garb the mild spell means grief. For others who enjoy basking in sunshine it comes as a pleasant early-year bonus. In the top photo [this photo] are University students Kathy Sullivan (left) and Toddie Hogan, being outfitted a month ago at Moe Sport Shop when snow was ample. The lower picture is a a scene on U-M's Diagnoal during yesterday's "spring."
