A demonstration against an armed campus police force was held earlier on the Diag when some 150 persons protested plans for the department. Speaker Jerry Goldberg, a Workers World Party candidate for U-M Board of Regents, told the group a campus 'goon squad' is being formed to quash student demonstrations.
