Waite, chairman of the Ann Arbor Artists' Exhibition, were early arrivals at the show which opened with a reception in Alumni hall last night. Above, they are looking at Carleton W. CHAPIN PAINTING: "Near the Ex Convento" is the title of this painting by Myron B. Chapin of Ann Arbor included in the Ann Arbor Art association exhibit opening today in Alumni Memorial hall. It was painted at Taxco, Mexico, and is one of a number of paintings by the Chapin family to be seen in the current exhibition of the Art Association.
