ON SPEAKERS' PLATFORM AT USO DEDICATION: Among the men, prominent in University and civic life, who attended Saturday afternoon's ceremonies for the dedication of the new USO headquarters were the men pictured on the speakers' platform. From left to right are Rev. C. H. Loucks, pastor of the First Baptist church, Mayor Leigh J. Young, Osias Zwerdling, member of the USO committee, I. B. Rhodes, regional USO director from Chicago, Earl Cre??, chairman of the War Chest fund, Dr. Alexander G. Ruthven, president of the University, Col. Frederick Rogers, commandant of the Army forces, and Rev. Warren Peek of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Capt. Richard Cassidy, head of the naval forces on the campus, also was present but does not appear in the picture.
