WAIT TO SEE PRESIDENT: Many persons lined up early this morning outside the Michigan Stadium to await admission to see President Lyndon B. Johnson and hear him give the address for the University commencement. The President arrived by helicopter outside at 9:54 a.m., precisely at the time he was scheduled to arrive from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. He rode in one of four helicopters used to provide trip security.

Peace Marchers To Get Police Escort. Gene Gladstone (left), coordinator for the anti-war New Mobilization movement, talks with Ann Arbor Police Chief Walter E. Krasny about plans for a peace march from the Michigan Stadium to the University Diagonal on Saturday. Krasny told Gladstone that the police department will provide an escort for the marchers, keeping a lane on Green, Hoover and S. State St. open for the movement of traffic. The march will culminate in a rally on the Diagonal.
