MRS. KATE RANKIN, center, was honored Tuesday afternoon by the Friends and Family Circle of Ypsilanti State Hospital and the Psychiatric Social Workers of all state hospitals when the Circle was host at a luncheon during the two-day conference. Ethelbert Thomas, left, co-chairman of the Social workers, presented Miss Rankin with an orchid, Mrs. William Kelly, president of the Circle, read a resolution honoring Miss Rankin and Mrs. Barbara O'Brien, Ypsilanti State Hospital social worker, presented her with a bouquet of red roses. Dr. O. R. Yoder, second from left and Jack Mitchell, co-chairman with Mr. Thomas, second from right, also offered their congratulations.
