LIKES AIRPLANE RIDE AT 97: Henry T. Purfield, 528 Walnut St., is 97 years old but that doesn't mean he's too old to take an airplane ride. He liked his first trip at the Ann Arbor airport so well he vowed to come back for more. He is shown (center) listening to pilot Kenneth Gamber (left) explain what makes the plane fly.
