JUNIOR PRIZE EXHIBIT AT CONVENTION: The miniature hospital ward shown above may be seen at the convention of the Michigan King's Daughters in session at the Michigan League. Each part of it - the furniture, the figures, the costumes, the birdcage, the decorations, was made to scale by the circles in the county. It represented a scene in the University hospital at Christmas time when the gifts arrive from King's Daughters, the organization which has sponsored the hospital school for many years. The model was sent to San Francisco last summer and received the first prize at the International convention.

Strictly Confidential: In the social service exchange, the Community Fund association maintains a clearing house for the listing of identifying information on all cases handled by agencies, public or private that keep permanent records. This typical picture shows the exchange records being consulted by a group of workers whose desire is to be of service but who also want to avoid duplication and ensure the co-operation of all interested agencies and individuals. Such an exchange is a fundamental of good social work. Co-operating agencies refer to the exchange before giving assistance. The records also are available to King's Daughters and to churches and like groups or individuals who have a legitimate reason for obtaining the information. Is is however strictly confidential.
