HARD TO FIT: Big Bob West, six-foot-three-inch, 227-pound 10th-grader who hopes to earn a tackle spot on Willow Run High's first football team, buckles helmet which wasn't easy to get. The size-71/2 'hat' he needed wasn't available at Willow Run nor at other high schools to which the Runners turned for help. But Hank Hatch, veteran Michigan equipment man, found one that worked fine. So West will be wearing U-M Maize and Blue headgear this fall.
