Mike O'Brien, a 17-year-old St. Thomas High School senior, shows how and where he spends his Saturday afternoons - at the WOIA studios, where he is a disc-jockey. O'Brien, who has been spinning records for more than a year now, has his own radio show each Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. The St. Thomas student, who is also a reporter for The News' Youth Page, plans to become a lawyer. He would be following in the path of his father, Probate Judge Francis L. O'Brien. His parents live at 216 S. Revena.
