DORMITORY FUNDS INVESTED: Mrs. S. Beach Conger, secretary of the Michigan Alumnae Association, is pictured above presenting a check for $40,000 to Giles Cavanaugh, Detroit internal revenue collector and state administrator of defense bond and stamp sales. Mrs. Conger also is a member of the state defense savings committee. The check represents money in the Henderson Memorial Fund, established by the Alumnae Association to build a co-operative women's dormitory. Unable to construct it now because of priority restrictions, the funds are being invested in defense savings bonds.
