Allyn D. Kantor (right), newly elected president of Temple Beth Emeth (Reform), presents a lithograph by Marc Chagall entitled, "Creation," to Prof. and Mrs. Ronald S. Tikofsky in appreciation of their contributions to the Beth Emeth congregation. Prof. Tikofsky was the congregation's first president and also served as chairman of its founding steering committee. He is a professor of psychology at the U-M.

Jesse Aaron Bernstein has been a member of the Temple Beth Emeth community since he arrived in Ann Arbor in 1970 to pursue a Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan. He has served on the Temple board and has been an active participant in the development of the Jewish community in Ann Arbor over the past 50 years.

First Jewish Book Fair More than 2,500 books on Judaica will be exhibited tomorrow at Ann Arbor's first Jewish Book Fair. Sponsored by Temple Beth Emeth, the fair will be held in the social hall of the Hillel Building, 1429 Hill, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cecile Chusid, right, chairman of the Jewish Book Fair committee, says the collection will include popular fiction, art, history, humor, philosophy, cooking, biography as well as a special selection of children's books.
