ARLAN'S OPENS: This is the interior of the 70,000-square-foot Arlan's Self-Service Discount Department Store in Westgate Shopping Center at W. Stadium Blvd. and Jackson Ave. The store was opened Thursday, when crowds jammed a 2,000-car parking lot to visit and make purchases at the new $500,000 facility stocked with an estimated $1,000,000 in goods.
