CHANGING SCENE: The demolition of several old lumber facilities near the Ann Arbor Railroad Co. tracks between E. Madison St. and S. Main St. is changing the familiar scene in this area of the city. GAS MAY BE SHORT, BUT 'ELBOW GREASE' ISN'T: Paul McDowell, 1621 South Blvd., seems to be enjoying the extra service given by two shorts-clad girls at Floyd Cook's service station, S. Main and Madison Sts. Cook (with the gas hose), is celebrating his third anniversary as operator of the station, and that's how the girls, Dorothy Huntwork (left), and Donna Foster, fit into the picture. He hired them as an anniversary stunt. The oil workers' strike hasn't seriously curtailed driving in Ann Arbor yet. (Story on page 13.)
