Games Draw Crowds (In TV Rooms) This sort of family circle around the television set was duplicated in hundreds of local homes during yesterday's bowl games, but this one was a little special - an All-America football player was its chief "commentator." Ernest J. (Aqua) Allmendinger (upper center, seated on the floor) entertained relatives at his home at 814 Henry. In the group were (on davenport, from left) Mrs. Robert Zwinck, Mrs. Robert Muehlig, Miss Linda Muehlig; (foreground, from left) Gary Muehlig, Edward Zwinck, Robert Zwinck Jr., Robert Zwinck Sr.; (background, from left) Allmendinger, Robert Muehlig and Mrs. Allmendinger. Allmendinger, a retired county road commission engineer, was named to the All-America squad in 1917 when he was a member of the Fort Sheridan (Ill.) Army team. Previously he had been on the University of Michigan varsity for three years. In 1918 he captained the 9th Division team.
