THE CLOWNS OF DOODLEDOO: Two scenes from the circus presented yesterday afternoon at the day camp of the Youn Women's Christian association are shown above. In the top picture, one of the clowns in "The Clowns of Doodledoo" is having his face washed. In the scene the children, from left to right, are: Mary Emma Splane, Juanity Cranfill, Joanna Withrow, Carol Ann Hagerman, Shirley Barnard, Joanne Housel, Marilyn Jean Lexen, Dorothy Young, Jean Cummins, Joyce Hall and Alice Rainich.

WASH JOB: An elephant in a car wash? It happened yesterday at a local car wash, when Wanda, a 12-year-old, 5,500 pound beast appeared for a soaping. Her trainer is Robert Fetters of the King Exposition Shows and Circus. There are four performances daily in the 200 block of Main St. during Summer Bargain Days.
