Shell Of Pittsfield Township House: This home, self-built by a young Ypsilanti couple, stands as a blackened hulk this morning, just a few weeks before they were to move in. The home is owned by the Robert Jones family of Ypsilanti, now on vacation in another state. Source of the blaze, which broke out as Ann Arbor firemen fought two downtown fires, was either wiring or defects in the suspension heating system located in the attic, East Ann Arbor Fire Chief Ernest Chasteen said.
