Ann Arbor is going to the dogs. At least this week. Pictured above Mayor Robert C. Campbell is presenting Fred McCann, president of the Detroit Beagle club, with the key to the city. The picture was taken on Geddes Heights where field Beagle trials are being held all this week. Front row, left to right, are James Smith, Saginaw; Mayor Campbell, McCann, Dan Steele and his son and George Eberle, chairman of the field trials. Between Campbell and McCann are Charles Berry of Saginaw and W. Hardy of Lansing. In the extreme background are the two judges, Beryl Bishop of Lansing and E. L. Gray of Indianapolis.

COUNTRY CLUB SITE: These four persons look over plans of the new Ann Arbor Country Club. The four are (left to right) Supr. E. A. Wolter of Scio township, Architect David Osler of Ann Arbor, Mayor Cecil O. Creal and Minor Vandermade, president of Webster Golflands, Inc., owner of the new club. It is expected to have 700 members. So far, 65 area professional men have joined as charter members.
