Majestic Theater, 1930
Year:
1962
Published In:
Ann Arbor News, March 8, 1962
Caption:
From 'Ye Old Editor Has His Say,' March 8, 1962: "The Majestic opened auspiciously on Dec. 19, 1907, with a vaudeville bill and a showing of the movie 'Girl of the Golden West.' That, of course, was years before the present manager was born. It was at the Majestic that Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians made their debut and many a sophomore participated in his first football victory riot there. Since 1917, it has featured only movies."
