Baird of Washtenaw County on Alcoholism discuss plans for the upcoming open house at the council's new headquarters in the lower level of the United Way Building at 2301 Platt Road. The open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The public is invited to tour the offices and learn about the agency's services. The council's goals are to inform the public, and prevent and treat alcoholism. The council estimates there are 6,000 alcoholics and an additional 6,000 problem drinkers in Washtenaw County.
