Interior of the Abbetts' Home in Pittsfield Village, September 1950 Photographer: Maiteland Robert La Motte
Year:
1950
Published In:
Ann Arbor News, September 30, 1950
Caption:
Two Pittsfield Park neighbors, the William G. Moores and Byron D. Abbetts of Yost Blvd., offer a study in living room contrasts. Almost identical in architectural design, the living rooms—as well as the rest of the dwelling—are decorated and furnished in opposing contrasting styles. The Moores' home (top) is furnished in Early American, the Abbetts' dwelling (bottom) is modern throughout. Interior color schemes help to set the two homes far apart in appearance.
