Look Over Plans For Civic Theater - Plans for civic theater, part of the proposed Ann Arbor civic center, are being examined by Mayor William E. Brown, jr. (left), John H. Benjamin (center) of Sheehan Ave., president of the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre, and Dr. Thomas D. Gilson of Hill St., board member and chairman of membership and season tickets for the Civic Theatre. The Civic Theatre group opened its activities last night with a one-act play and open house at the workshop, 305 1/2 S. Main St.
