No. 1 team tonight at Ann Arbor high for the city championship. The winner of tonight's game will represent Ann Arbor in the state tournament at Kalamazoo. POST OFFICE STAR: Joe Loukotka, above, will demonstrate the fast ball that has terrorized batsmen in the Industrial Softball League for the past three years at Wines Field tonight when the Post Office clashes with King-Seeley in the second game of a play-off series for the Industrial League title. Loukotka huried the Postmen to a 5-3 victory in the first game of the series and a similar performance tonight will give the Letter Carries the championship.

There Went The Neighborhood - Studio Interview: Jennifer (Mitchell) Hampton

Jennifer (Mitchell) Hampton attended Jones School in kindergarten, fifth, and sixth grades, and she remembers being one of very few white students in the school. She shares memories of her classmates and teachers and her perspective on racial attitudes in Ann Arbor in the 1950s and 60s.
