Cantata Soloists Soloists for the annual Eastertide cantata to be presented at 9 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday at First Methodist Church rehearse under the direction of Lester McCoy (right). This year's selection will be Pachelbel's "Shout to the Lord." The Rev. Kendall Cowing will preach.

Rehearse for 'Messiah': The 330 voices of the Choral Union blend with the Choral Union orchestra as they rehearse for the traditional campus presentations of Hanel's "messiah" at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow and 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Hill Auditorium. Lester McCoy (at right) conducts the group. Guest soloists this year will be Nancy Carr, soprano; Eunice Alberts, contralto; David Lloyd, tenor; and James Pease, bass. Tickets are still available for both performances at University Musical Society offices in Burton Tower.
