VOLUNTEERS FOR REDEEMER: Subfloors in the sanctuary of the new Redeemer Lutheran Church building are placed by one of the crews of the congregation's volunteer workers, who have contributed their labor for interior finishing of the church since last spring. Working are (left to right) Leon Hack, the Rev. Alvin Baer, pastor; Robert Laubengayer and Ralph Hack. A building committee acted as general contractor.

SHORT SIGN: This is one of two stop signs on Redeemer Ave. at Pauline Blvd. which have been ruled illegal by Municipal Judge Francis L. O'Brien because they are shorter than the prescribed height. They are used only during school crossing hours.
