The automotive tune-up conducted at the North Campus Auto Engineering Lab drew a crowd of motorists yesterday. Offered as a service by U-M students to help in the pollution fight (poorly tuned autos cause more air pollution problems), the six auto bays were filled all day long. A reported 40 cars, in fact, were waiting in line when the lab opened, and latecomers found as much as a five hour wait for the tune-up.
