One of the most popular of the services offered to arriving foreign students by Volunteers for International Hospitality (VIHP) is a tour of area shopping centers where they can purchase cooking utensils, bedding and other items they need to set up housekeeping. Conducting some of these tours for the last two years have been Wasseem Malik, left foreground, and Shadid Loldhi, right, both doctoral candidates in pharmacy from Pakistan, who volunteered their services at arrival time after pleasant experiences with VIHP host families.
