Giving pursuit are John McPartlin (84), Gary Housepian (64) and Robert Garcia (right) of the Railsplitters. Bruises later sidelined Balzhiser.

Huron High quarterback Gary Balzhiser (10), tripped up by a Jackson Lumen Christi player and under pressure from big Ed Norkey (80), is about to pitch the ball out to fullback Bob Stenberg (33). Balzhiser made a fine play to get the ball away but Stenberg was stopped after a short gain by the rugged Jackson defense.
