Gifts to Elementary Schools Given in Honor of Dina Kahn, September 1969

Memorial Gifts Honor Mrs. Kahn. Following an assembly at Haisley Elementary School at which the Dina Kahn Memorial gifts were presented, pupils, from left, Vic Turner, Trish McGovern, David Storer and Bill French look at the book "The Color of Man." With them is memorial committee chairman William De St. Aubin. The book, and a filmstrip entitled "The Meaning of Democracy." will be presented to each elementary school in the city. The memorial honors the late Mrs. Reuben Kahn and her work in promoting brotherhood. Mrs. Kahn for many years made visits to local schools.
