Turkeys, Turkeys And More Turkeys: The second graders in Mrs. JoAnn Budzik's room at Eberwhite School are discovering that learning phonetics can be both fun and meaningful. A phonetic achievement bulletin board, a monthly project of Mrs. Budzik, naturally has turkeys for its theme this month. Children, like Carla Betzig and Mark Maxey shown in front of the bulletin board, try to see how many words they can make by using two letter consonant blends and the endings on the turkeys.
