Old Dental Building To Come Down. A plywood fence has been erected in front of the University's 61-year-old School of Dentistry Building (center) prior to start of razing the structure within the next week. Second oldest dental school building in the U.S., its site will be occupied by a library addition to the research wing of the new $17,294,845 building complex on right, and an addition to the Kellogg Foundation Institute for Graduate and Postgraduate Dentistry on left. The U-M's Burton Memorial Tower rises at left.
