SAILOR DEAD HONORED IN YPSILANTI: During its annual Memorial Day parade yesterday, Ypsilanti paid tribute to the sailor dead during traditional ceremonies at the Cross St. bridge over the Huron River. After the casting of a wreath on the river by the Women's Relief Corps, the parade continued to Highland Cemetery, where services were held honoring all Americans who died in service.

The Scouts placed more than 100 flags on veterans' graves in the city over the weekend. Left to right here are Charles Larkins, Alan Symons, John Leavey and Stanley Schlecht, the post's leader.
