SAILOR DEAD HONORED IN YPSILANTI: During its annual Memorial Day parade yesterday, Ypsilanti paid tribute to the sailor dead during traditional ceremonies at the Cross St. bridge over the Huron River. After the casting of a wreath on the river by the Women's Relief Corps, the parade continued to Highland Cemetery, where services were held honoring all Americans who died in service.

TAPS FOR VETERANS: Members of Explorer Scout Post 111, sponsored by the Erwin Prieskorn post of the American Legion, salute a dead war veteran in Bethlehem Cemetery.
