Former Students Visit School - Members of the Quackenbush family who have fond memories of Townline School visited their often-refurbished schoolhouse recently. They are (from left) Edith Quackenbush Savery of Chelsea Methodist Home, who graduated from its eight grade in 1892 and taught there from 1896 to 1898; Earl Quackenbush, of Dixboro, a first grader in 1890 - 91; Flossie Quackenbush of Lurie Terrace, a first grader in 1893 - 94; and Leola Quackenbush Leslie of Dixboro, who is holding an 1894 songbook used for opening ceremonies and who taught its pupils in 1913 - 14 after having studied there in 1895 - 96.
