Workmen put steel girders up in the top picture as construction continues on the $4.18 million Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library on the University of Michigan North Campus. Robert Warner, director of the Michigan Historical Collections said there have ben no problems and construction is progressing very nicely. Completion date is summer, 1980. It will be operated and maintained by the federal government and will house former President Ford's papers.
