"Gathered in native attire for a Filipino Independence Day banquet are several members of the Ann Arbor- Ypsilanti Filipino community. The banquet was held at the Ecumenical Campus Center. In the afternoon members of the Philippine Michigan Club held a tea at the University's International Center, where visitors were provided information about the Republic of the Philippines."
