Benefit Art Sale Sunday Art from galleries through out the United States will be auctioned Sunday at 1429 Hill in a benefit for Beth Israel Congregation. Holding one of the paintings which will go on the block are Mrs. Jarvis T. Franzblau (left) and Mrs. Herbert H. Paper. The event, open to the public, will begin with a 6:30 p.m. preview. The auction is scheduled to start at 7: 30 p.m.

Art Works Auction Mrs. Murray H. Miller, left, and Mrs. Charles A. Rosenblatt preview some of the works of art which will be presented Sunday by Fred Grossman, right, at the Art Auction sponsored by the Beth Israel Sisterhood. Activities will begin at 6 p.m. with a champagne preview at the Hillel Foundation social hall, 1429 Hill. The auction will begin at 8 p.m. Mr. Grossman, who is holding a Miro print, is with the Internationale Galerie of Arts in Berkeley. The event is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased at Shipman's Children's Clothing in Arborland, Wagner's Clothing Store, Gross Lighting Center and at the door. Mrs. Paul Meisel, Art Auction chairman, may be contacted for further information.

To Be Auctioned: Here are some of the items contributed by members of First Unitarian Church, including leading Ann Arbor artists, that will be auctioned at 8:30 p.m. today at the church. Proceeds will be used to send an Ypsilanti High School senior to France next summer as part of the Youth for Understanding Teen-Age Exchange Program sponsored by the Michigan and Ann Arbor-Washtenaw Council of Churches. The auction and a potluck dinner at 7 p.m. are projects of the church's social action committee. The event is open to the public. For further information call NO 5-6165.
