The River Rats are currently in first place after the quarterfinal round of the state high school tennis tournament in Midland. They lead Kalamazoo Loy Norrix by one point, 20-19, with the semis and final round today. Members of the Huron team are: (kneeling, left to right) Gordon Kamisar, Jay Alcock, John Lazar, Tom Kumasaka, Greg Pon; (standing) Coach Gordon Boettcher, Dick Anthony, George Shepherd, John Kamiar, Will Carrington and John Turcotte.
