New Concept For Carport This photograph, taken looking north on Maynard, shows progress on the city's unique new concept of building a carport in the right-of-way above Maynard St. The picture shows a portion of the new carport--which will extend across the street and hook into the existing carport--being built atop the addition to Jacobson's. At lower left is a portion of the ramp which will take cars across Maynard St. It is expected the project will be completed for 284 cars by March 1.
