Four will be placed at Willow Run Airport and two in Ann Arbor. Material for the canisters was donated by Washtenaw Building Trades Council, and union members volunteered their labor. Pictured left to right are Clarence Kollewehr, secretary of the Building Trades Council; Mrs. Gerhart H. Bower, member of the Ann Arbor canister committee for the polio drive; Mrs. Joseph Cox, chairman of the Ypsilanti canister committee; Mrs. Harold Bjornstad, chairman of the Ypsilanti campaign; and Mrs. J.
